Objective: Understand how your firm can utilize the Outlook Add-In functionality to sync emails, meetings and contacts from Outlook.
Close Microsoft Outlook.
Login to the Intapp CRM web portal and click into the Profile icon at the top right.
Locate the download link for the Outlook Add-In on the User Profile window. Once downloaded, open Outlook and login to the Intapp CRM Add-In.
Select an email from your inbox or sent folder.
Click on the InfoPane icon on either the Message or Intapp ribbon in Outlook.
Note which entries are automatically tagged (if any) based on the email addresses in the selected email.
Note which other types of fields you can tag to an email in the InfoPane.
Now switch to a meeting on your Outlook calendar.
Note which entries are automatically tagged (if any) based on the email addresses of the meeting participants.
Note which other types of fields you can tag to a meeting in the InfoPane, along with the section to enter meeting notes.
Now switch to a contact in your Outlook contacts folder.
Note which fields map into the contact entry form on the InfoPane.
Note which other fields you see on the InfoPane for a contact entry.
